  Excellent service. Excellent ambiance. It is impossible to have a bad date here. The bouncers are especially cool. If you're looking to get a head up on the rest, go there at 8 pm, when they switch from dinner to drinks, and you'll beat the line. Also, make friends with the bouncers because they're awesome, and be sure to tip them well. Next time, when you show up with your lady, they'll let you right in, and you'll look like a boss.

  I’m bummed that this was not a 5 star experience. Thank you Rachel (lounge waitress) for making our experience the best it could with your friendliness and warmth. My review/experience could cost management’s job! This would include the hostess and others who sat in a table over 90mins drinking and not consuming AT all and when my eyes had enough I voiced my frustration to Rachel and she got the manager back to her responsibilities which on this particular night wasn’t to sit with customers to drink and socialize. As regular restaurant diner and business owner, I know that a restaurant should NOT HAVE a table without fresh food, fresh drinks or a check in front of them for more than 60mins. This is standard and the main job of managers To keep tables moving. The table paid the bill literally 15mins after I said how is management sitting with them??? Bad, bad, bad! Rachel should be promoted by the way she handled our evening and we will not call management to take care of us. In fact I just never want to experience what I witnessed last night again. The octopus was tasty the fresh catch was too. Will try this restaurant again in hope to update this review and my experience.

  I'll start - this place is gorgeous.
  
  Had the opportunity to have dinner here recently. This would be fantastic during the day for lunch/brunch, or cocktails/dinner at sunset. The views would be spectacular.
  
  I was quite surprised on how loud this place is - it was a little difficult to hear the table conversation. Maybe the acoustics or design?
  
  Parking is a bit of a challenge. I refuse to pay for valet, and considering the location where this hotel is nestled in between high rise apartments, there only permit only parking after a certain time in the evening. I was lucky enough to find walkable parking that wasn't permit only, but during busy times, you're kinda forced to valet it.
  
  The food - pretty solid. I ordered the scallops - so tender and juicy. All of the delicate flavors of the sea were preserved. My date ordered the lamb with smoked eggplant - stellar.
  
  Service was perfect - attentive and not pushy. Didn't check every five minutes, and made good recommendations.
  
  This place is worth checking out - especially if it was busy on a Monday night.

  Love this restaurant for the scenic views it affords of the coast and the surrounding city. It’s a bit over priced for the quality in my opinion but you’re paying a premium for the view and experience. Definitely a place I would recommend bringing friends for brunch.

  I've visited for brunch twice and the food both times was below par considering the environment. There's a gorgeous view of the Santa Monica mountains to the north, which can be seen while waiting for a table, and a pleasant view of downtown Santa Monica to the south of you're seated at the right angle. I made a reservation and showed up on time, but I still had to wait 15+ minutes. I think they forgot about me because they asked for my name again after clearing out the rest of the patrons.
